EGU General Assembly 2025 (LINKS)

The work "From Polygon to Prediction: A Request-Driven Architecture for Disaster Mapping and Impact Assessment" was shown by our partner Fondazione LINKS – Leading Innovation & Knowledge for Society in the Session CL3.2.7 "Climate Change and Cultural Heritage: Identifying Impacts and Implementing Preservation Strategies" @ European Geosciences Union (EGU) 2025

The contribution was presented with reference to the UNICORN project, highlighting its relevance in developing digital tools for ClimateResilience.

The study proposes an adaptable, request-driven architecture that integrates remote sensing and AI-based delineation models to map hashtag#disaster events, such as hashtag#fires and hashtag#floods, and assess their impact on natural landscapes and cultural heritage. By automating the workflow, the service helps decision-makers understand what’s at stake and how best to respond.
